Job Summary:

We are seeking a Reefer Mechanic to join our team at our Council Bluffs, Iowa location. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers and containers including brakes, suspension systems, tires, and more. This is a 1st shift position, working the hours of Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Overtime opportunities may be available based on the business needs of the shop.

Reefer Mechanic Duties:

•           Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex issues with refrigeration units
•        Inspects equipment for defects and completes necessary repairs
•        Monitors temperatures of reefer containers
•        Performs routine maintenance on the reefer units and electrical systems
•        Maintains accurate record of work performed by entering all tasks into TMW software
