Job Summary:

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic Trainee to join our team at our Kansas City, Missouri location! In this position, you will learn how to perform maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks and heavy equipment. Previous mechanical experience is preferred, but not required. This is a 2nd shift position, working the hours of Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-11:30pm. Overtime opportunities may be available based on the business needs of the shop.

Diesel Mechanic Trainee Duties:

• Performs preventative maintenance
• Completes oil changes, tire mounting, and brake checks
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses issues with diesel equipment
• Repairs and replaces malfunctioning parts and components
• Track maintenance tasks in TMW software
• Other duties as assigned
