Job Summary:

We are seeking a Trailer/Container Mechanic to join our team at our Omaha, Nebraska location. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers and containers including brakes, suspension systems, tires, and more. This is a 1st shift position, working the hours of Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Mechanics at this location are required to work overtime every 3rd Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm. Additional overtime opportunities available based on the business needs of the shop. 

Trailer/Container Mechanic Duties:

• Complete repairs on chassis and containers using MIG and stick welding
• Inspect and repair lights, brakes, suspension, and frames on chassis
• Repair and replace container floors
• Mount tires onto chassis
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chassis and containers
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on equipment in TMW software
• Other duties as assigned

This Position will Operate out of a Service Truck on TSL property
